SHEENA McCURRACH ART

Sheena McCurrach's work as an artist is defined by the landscape around her;

its colours, flora and fauna, light, shade and shadow.

Her paintings resonate with sensitivity to her surroundings and suggest much more than the visual.

Sheena lives in in rural  Galloway; in an ancient mill cottage where she has established a studio in an old stone building set amongst the richly patterned fields and by the shores of Woodhall Loch.

Sheena currently has work on show in two exhibitions in Dumfries and Galloway. The first is with the DAGFAS (Dumfries and Galloway Fine Art Society) Winter Exhibition at the Eskdalemuir Community Hub  until 26th January. The hub is open from 11 am -4pm daily and boasts an excellent cafe and shop with many local produce and good  things to buy.

She is also part of a changing permanent exhibition at the Gallery in Laurieston, in good company, and under the professional care of photographer Phil McMenemy  and you can enjoy freshly made coffee and cake while you’re there!

refreshments and delicious home-made cake !
